Happy Friday!! I'm SOO excited!! Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenges are BACK!!! Wooohoooo!!!! And...the sketches are just back...they are BACK!!! I had way too much fun with this sketch!! At first, I was definitely out of my comfort zone. I don't do "fun and funky" very well, but I thought I'd give it a try. :-) Well, the more I played with it...the more I LOVED it!!
I just love how this card turned out! I think, mostly because it's so different from my normal style. Well, that and I got to use my new Hello Spring set from Our Craft Lounge!! The design is so simple (it really is...I promise!!)...I just let the sketch and the fun patterned paper (from PTI) do all the work for me! Hehehee! For embellishments, I added some bling, ribbon, and a fun felt flower that I found in my stash! (Remember last week how I mentioned that many times I create a card around an embellishment? Well, this was definitely one of those times!! LOL!)

Laurie, this is so pinkalicious1 I adore your bright and happy pink with the black and white polkadots and the sweet dimensional flower. It's all that and a chocolate shake, baby! good to see you again - so glad I got to meet you in person! HUGS!

What an adorable stamp set, Laurie -- you've hightlighted it perfectly! I see we were both a little uncomfortable with this sketch and opted for black and bright! Adore that beautiful felt flower -- it's the perfect embellishment for this beautiful card! Have a wonderful weekend!

I love your card and it does get away from your usual style but it works and is bling-a-lishious!!! (New word heard on one of my daughter's favorite Disney flicks - Camp Rock - that fits your card perfectly.) Keep up the great inspiration you share with all of us. (P.S.
