Did you all see the A*MAZING new stamps Verve has released? Yeah, EIGHT brand new Springy sets!! Woohoo!! Here are a few samples that I made using them...
I am NO flower expert...trust me LOL!!)...but when I first saw these, they reminded me of my favorite flower - red Gerber Daisies! So, that's what I went with for this card (using the new Floral Symphony and Circular Sayings sets)...and paired them with this beautiful red Memory Box paper.
I am always in need of masculine cards, and they are usually the "least stocked" type of cards in my stash! So, I thought I would use the new Psalm 51:10 Plain Jane stamp to create an all-occasion type of masculine card...ready for when I need it! The design was fairly simple...I just added some random dark brown sponging to the patterned paper (By Kimberly Polsom for Fiskars), a little bit of stitching, and some twill/brads for embellishments!
To create this Easter card, I paired some Memory Box paper with the new Everlasting Life set. Using my Oval nestabilities and some vellum c.s., I made a "window". (I'm not sure why my ribbon looks like a different color in this picture...but in real life it matches the cardstock perfectly!)
Here's a picture of the inside... The main image was stamped with Memento Brown ink and colored with my Copics. I added some Peeled Paint Stickles to the vines...it gives them just a *hint* of sparkle.
Lastly, here is a quick and easy card I made using the new Beautiful Kindness set. This was probably one of the hardest cards to photograph...ever! :-) I had picked up some fun paper at a scrapbook store in Spokane (it didn't have a name brand on it), and thought it would go perfectly with this new set! At the time, I loved all the silver foil accents in the papers...until I went to photograph them!! LOL!!
I'll be back tomorrow with a few more cards I made with my new Verve stamps!! :-) Thanks for stopping by! ~Laurie
