Good morning! Charmaine, a very sweet friend and fellow Stamper's Dream team mate, is soon to be a new mommy again!! Woohoooo!!!! I just LOVE making baby cards! I can't think of a happier occasion in which to make a card!
I went with one of my all time favorite styles...a little bit vintage. :-) I used the onesie and flower (it's stamped on the gingham patterned paper) from the Baby set from Rubber Soul. The bottom Ivory c.s. piece is embossed using the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. I "aged" the card by sponging on some Antique Linen Distress ink (hands down my favorite sponging ink ever!!)! I adhered the onesies so that it would look like they were hung on a laundry line (that's why there are little clothespins there LOL!!). I also added some heart rhinestones to the onesies...every little girl needs a little bling, right? :-)
Make sure to check out the rest of the team's cards: Amy, Becca, Cammie, Denise, Kim, Michelle, & Tosha.
Congratulations, Charmaine!! I wish you and your family all the best! :-)
Thanks for stopping by!

This card is just too cute. Love everything about it, especially those little clothespins and the twine. Precious! And I'm with you on the Antique Linen ink!

So, so sweet! I love it that the onesies are hanging from a laundryline with clothespins. Love the flowers stamped on the gingham, and the distressed dotted swiss layer makes it simply perfect!

Laurie - you've outdone yourself, my dear. Your choice in DP (looks like October Afternoon's Sweater Weather) is superb and those precious onesies on the line just stole my heart. This card is sure to become an heirloom in Charmaine's baby book. What a sweet and generous friend you are.
