We have not ever dealt with any illness of the same magnitude as her friend is, but we have gone through (and still going through to a point) a major illness (our daughter had a brain tumor). The stress from the illness alone is HUGE but couple that with financial stress....well, you can imagine! We have been the recipients of extreme generosity and there just are not words to express what that meant to us!
