Welcome to the June Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz!! This month, the design team is sharing cards made with some of their favorite Waltzingmouse stamps!
If you've arrived here from Claire's blog, then you're right on track! If you've just stopped by to see what I'm up to, then you will definitely want to go see what Claire's cooked up!! Not only is she uber creative, but there are prizes involved! (((wink))) More on that later...
For my card, I combined some GCD Studio patterned paper with some new Waltzingmouse Stamps! I first embossed one of the images from the Very Vintage Labels No. 10 onto some Prism cardstock which created a lovely frame for this wonderful quote from the Words of Wisdom set! I created the background layer by embossing some black cardstock using the new Tim Holtz Regal Flourishes embossing folder and then rubbing it with some Brilliance inks. For embellishments, I added a punched border, some Dew Drops, flowers, and some ribbon. Oh, about the flowers...I added some Antique Linen Distress Stickles to the baby blue little flowers so that they would coordinate with my vintage style card. :-)
