Waltzingmouse Stamps Sneak Peek Day 3...

Hi there!  I'm back today to share with you another project made with some soon to be released Waltzingmouse Stamps! 

Ooooh, just WAIT until you see the new Victorian Fripperie set!!  Mmm, mmmm!  It's elegant, versatile, & flat out gorgeous!!  AND, it's going to be released tomorrow (July 1st)!!  :-)

For my card, I used the border (from the Victorian Fripperie set) as well as the "Hi" sentiment (also from the Victorian Fripperie set) combined with some older My Mind's Eye paper.  For embellishments, I added some rhinestone flowers, ribbon, and a pink flower.

Waltzingmouse Sneak Peeks Day 1...

Happy Monday!!  Today I get to share with you a card I made using some soon to be released Waltzingmouse Stamps!!  :-)

Well, I'm not sure what has been going on with me and clean and simple cards lately...but I'm diggin' em!  :-)  Oh, and before you say that I need to re-ink my pads...I made the lanterns look like that on purpose!!  Teeheehee!  I wanted the look of see-through silk, so I rubbed my stamp diagonally over my ink pad before I stamped it. 

This super cute lantern and sentiment is from the upcoming Asian Gardens Additions set!  This set (among others) will be available July 1st!

Happy Sunday!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  I'm here to share a quick little card I made using the shiny brand new Always on My Mind set from Verve! 

 

One of my most favorite things about Julee's stamps is that they are geared toward encouraging others!  The Always on My Mind set is no exception!  LOVE it!!

I kept the card super simple...just stitching on some strips of ribbon to create a bright and cheery backdrop for the sentiment!

Verve's New Release Blog Hop...

For my card, I used the new Psalm 3:3 Plain Jane!  I have to tell you, this has been such a meaningful verse to me, and when I saw that Julee made it into a stamp (and a beautifully scripted verse at that!!) I was SO excited!! 

I thought that it was high time I used some of these gorgeous My Mind's Eye paper (from the So Sophie Collection)!  I've finally convinced myself that it's O.K. to actually USE the paper...not just collect it!!  {{grin}}

An American Hero...

 Hi there!  Just wanted to pop in here quickly and let you all know about the Verve Release party tonight!  The new sets Julee has cooked up are FANTASTIC and I can't wait for you to see them!!  The party will be over at the Verve Forum tonight (Friday) at 9 pm ET!!  Hope you can make it!!

Before I run out the door, I wanted to share with you one of the cards I created using the American Hero set!!  OMGosh....just WAIT until you see all the awesome sentiments in this set (not to mention the waaaay cool stars!!)!  This set is SO perfect for expressing gratitude to those who serve our Country (both Military and Public Servants)...as well as being great for Fourth of July Celebrations!!  All the new sets will be available TONIGHT at Midnight ET!!

Dreams...

Good morning!  Today marks the first day of sneak peeks over at the Verve Blog!  I am head over heels in love with the set being "peeked" today!!  Blue Skies is a set of 16 stamps that I KNOW you are going to love!!  I mean, just look at that notebook page!  AAAAACCK!  Total cuteness!

This may come as a surprise ((wink)), but this card was all about using that uber cool notebook page image!!  I liked it so much that I stamped it twice!  Teehehee!  After stamping them, I cut them out and tied them together with a little string.  The patterned paper I used wa a bit to busy for my notebook page to really pop, so I threw on some embossed vellum cardstock.  A few buttons, some ribbon and lace, and one heart later my card was finished!

There are lots of fun stuff happening at Verve this week!!  TheRelease Week Challenges are going on now until Friday (if you play along you will be entered to win the entire release!!!), not to mention the New Set Spotlights that have begun over at theVerve Blog!

All of this leads up to the Release Party this Friday night (June 25th) at 9 pm Eastern Time over at the Verve Forum!  Lots of prizes to be won, inspiring projects to be seen, and NEW STAMPS to be revealed!!

TE Blast from the Past - With a Cherry on Top!

Good morning!  Today, I get to participate in the June Taylored Expressions "Blast from the Past" Blog Hop!

For my card, I chose to work with one on my all time favorite TE sets - Sprinkled With Love!

It's been a while since I've made a pocket card...and I thought this would be perfect for one, so that is exactly what I made!  :-)  I had this KI patterned paper sitting in my stash, so I snatched it up and got to work. 

Some lace, ribbon, and a few buttons later my pocket was finished!

For the inside (or tag), I chose to work with the cupcake image (mostly because I really, really wanted to color that cute little thing)!  To finish it off, I added a little Stardust Stickles to the cupcake icing!  Mmmm, mmmmm!

Just a Note...

Happy Monday!  We're home again and I'm going to spend the day trying to catch up on life!  LOL!  Laundry, housekeeping, phone calls, and emails are all waiting for me...  :-)  Before I go and start on my long list of to-do's, I wanted to share this card with you! 

 

I started by stamping one of the silhouette floral images (from the Earth Flowers set by Hero Arts) onto white cardstock using Black Soot Distress ink and Soft Sand Shadow ink (from Hero Arts).  To add a bit more texture to my card, I embossed the card base using the new 5 x 7 Polka Dots embossing folder (from Cuttlebug).  The sentiment (also stamped in Black Soot) is from Taglines set (by Flourishes).  I finished my card off with some Burlap String tied up with a button and some rhinestones.
