Happy Sunday to you! It's day three of the April Waltzingmouse Stamp of Approval Parade (SOAP)!
Today, you are in for even MORE Waltzingmouse inspiration!
This time, I chose to create a couple masculine projects. Living in Montana, western sets are ALWAYS in high demand! :-)
I stamped the horse and rider stamp in teal and then embossed the Yee Haw sentiment (both from the Back in the Saddle set) on the top cream layer. I then stamped the wood grain background stamp (from the Way Out West set) on both the cream layer (over the stamping) and on the canvas tag.
Here you can see a bit of the cork layer that I tore. Before adhering all my layers together, I sponged the edges using some Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
I wasn't quite ready to put my supplies away, so I created this card using many of the same elements as the tag. For the background, I chose to use the rustic western words background stamp (from the Way Out West set). I stamped it directly onto the cork layer. To finish the card, I stamped the Happy Trails sentiment (from the Back in the Saddle set) and then added some buttons and punched out stars.
Ready to see more Waltzingmouse eye candy? Check out what the other DT ladies have created...
Thanks for stopping by today! I'll be back tomorrow for the final day of the April WMS SOAP! ~Laurie
