Good morning! As I type this, I can report that there is actually a sun sighting here in my corner of Montana! It's true! You may not think it blog worthy news, but when our temperature actually gets above 60 (which it is forecast to do today) AND the sun shines...well, it's not only blog news worthy but I actually consider throwing a party! Teehehee! Today is the only day it is supposed to be nice so I guarantee that I am going to enjoy every minute of it!
Speaking of sunshine, here's a fun and cheery card I created...
The June Get Your Diva On challenge is going on right now over at the Verve Forum! The theme is Bring on the Summer, Sunshine, and Blue Skies! Not only is the challenge a fun one to play along with (and I'm not only saying that because I'm the hostess this month teeheee!!) but the winner gets to be the next Verve Guest Diva!!! Woohoooo!! Here's a little more info on that...
The winner of the challenge (chosen by Julee) will get to be a Guest Diva in an upcoming release AND will receive all of the stamps/dies for that release for free! They will also get to play along with the Divas during the pre-release Spotlights as well as at the Release Party!! How's THAT for exciting?!!
Want a few details on my card? Well, I started with THIS svg file and cut out the sun shaped card on my cricut. I then decorated it with an image from the Blue Skies set and a sentiment from the Let it Shine set (both from Verve) and three butterfly die cuts (made with Verve's Flutterby die). A quick enabler's note: there are LOTS of sets on sale this month (Let it Shine is on of them :-)
