Hi there! I'm so excited to share this project with you today! When I first thought of the theme for this month's Get Your Diva On challenge (the theme is Bring on the Summer, Sunshine, and Blue Skies), the idea for this project was one of the first that came to my mind!
I can't even tell you how much fun I had creating this! A few Sizzix dies (Folk Hearts and Stars), Let it Shine stamp set (from Verve Stamps), embellishments, a few bamboo skewers, paint, and a clay pot was all I needed to finish this project!
In this close-up, you can see a couple of the sweet suns (included in the Let it Shine set) that I added to my sunshine bouquet!
Here, you can see the clay pot that I painted. I started with some plain white acrylic paint. I then added some Picket Fence Crackle Paint (from Tim Holtz) over the top to give it the fun vintage look. :-)
In this photo, you can see the sentiment banner (also from the Let it Shine set) as well as the little star pins I added!
