I used the new Fruitastic set on my card. Aren't those smiling strawberries the absolute cutest!!?!! I created a little basket (out of white cardstock) then filled it with colored and cut out strawberries! I then stamped the sentiment on the basket (and added one on a little flag I created).
Good morning! Have you heard the news? Kim is going to be releasing her August Paper Smooches stamps EARLY! Woot!! Tomorrow (Wednesday July 27th) at Midnight all of the new Paper Smooches will be available at the Paper Smooches sotre!
Want to see a little peek of what's in store for you? :-)
YES! There is now an alphabet set in Kim's fun writing (called Alphadots)!!!! There are several different styles of letters to choose from, numbers, punctuation, and some fun dots for decorating!
I love stamping alphabets onto vellum because the letters are so easy to line up! I just place my vellum piece over some grid paper and I'm good to go! :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a GREAT day! ~Laurie
Happy Monday!! Not only is it a brand new week, but today is Julee's (owner of Verve Stamps) birthday!!
I thought I would share the card I made for her...
I used the Small Phrases set combined with Birthday Bash (which happens to be on SALE this month :-) It is a little hard to tell from the photo, but after I was finished with the card I sprayed it all over with some Shimmer Spray! Julee has always been a fan of sparkle! :-)
Well, the swather is broken down today so that means I have a bit of time to catch up on my laundry! Wow, I don't think I've ever been this excited about laundry before! Teeheee!
I hope you have a wonderful day! ~Laurie

Hello again! The other day I sat down and pulled out goodies from the Love Games Collection and fell in love with them all over again! :-) One of my favorite things about Glitz is all of the fun things they include in each collection (Whatnots, Cardstock Stickers, Alphabets, Paper Layers, and Stamps to name just a few)! In both of the cards below, I combined many of the different products for a fun look!
In this first card, I started with some Love Games patterned paper and then added several Cardstock Stickers.
I created a little pocket to hold another Cardstock Sticker. Not only is it fun for the recipient to pull the tag out of the pocket and discover another message, but it can also be kept to use as a bookmark!
For my second card I started with one of the fun Paper Layers for a background (also from the Love Games Collection). I added a Whatnot, stamped Love tag, and a heart tag with some Teeny Alpha stickers. Yes, that is a decorative Glitzer peeking out from the left (I LOVE Glitzers)!!
Thanks so much for joining me here today! I hope you have a wildly creative day! ~Laurie

I've got two projects to share with you today...both featuring fun EAD Designs products!
My first card features the Call Me stickers from the Thinking of You sticker collection in Black. I used a phone cutout (made with my Cricut) and then just added the stickers! SO easy! :-)
While I had my Cricut out, I thought I would make another project. This time, I cut out a mini decorative envelope (with a cute tag inside)! I used the fun little candy cane from the Swanky Snowdudes stamp set (from Paper Smooches) to decorate the envelope.
Here's a peek of the inside! I just love fun shaped envelope tops...they add so much! :-)
Blog Hops are more fun when a prize is involved, right? All comments received before midnight Pacific time on July 24th is eligible to win a prize pack of both EAD Designs and Paper Smooches stamps. Visit the Paper Smooches Blog on Monday, July 25th to see if you were the ONE winner chosen. You do not need to comment on all five design team blogs to qualify. Good luck!

Good morning! Sorry things have been so slow around here. Things have been incredibly busy around here...and are just about to get even busier! :-) Haying season for us has officially started today. Soon, a certain tractor and I will be spending a lot of time together. LOL! I told DH I would help out with the haying this year, so my stamping time might be (probably will be actually) limited to when it rains! Teeheee!
This card is being sharing over at the Paper Smooches blog so I thought I would share it here as well! I just adore Kim's whimsical images and fun fonts! You can't help but smile when you see them! Here, I used the new Surf and Turf set (from Paper Smooches).
Here's a close-up of the sparkle I added to this super fun fish! I LOVE this fish!! :-)
Well, that's all from me today! I will try to pop back in when I can. I still have quite a bit of photos to go through and I hope to share some here soon!
I hope you have a wonderfully creative day! ~Laurie
Happy, happy Friday!! Not only is it the start of the weekend today, but we are kicking off the July Verve Diva Dare Challenge over at the Verve Blog! The dare is called Sentimental About Paper and we are to create a new project using patterned paper and sentiment stamps (no images)!
This is how I answered the dare! I finally cut into some patterned paper (from Imaginisce) that I've had in my stash for almost a year!! ((blush)) Pairing the patterned paper with the newly released Small Phrases set, I created a fun birthday card. Mimicking the circles in the patterned paper, I created two sentiment circles and then added a third at the bottom to resemble a banner. This is how I answered the dare!
There are some FREE Verve stamps up for a prize, so hop on over to the Verve blog to check out all the details!!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! ~Laurie

Good morning! A couple of days ago all of the Verve Divas posted their favorite card (made with the newly released stamps) over at the Verve blog.
Here's what I chose for my favorite...
I realize that this is quite a bit more simple than my usual cards, but I think it is the simplicity that appeals to me most. The patterned paper (Timpiece Collection from Bo Bunny), I thought, was perfect for this scripture (from the New Mercies set)!
Before I go, I wanted to share some of the sales going on over at Verve!
Julee is including a fabby goody bag with each purchase over $75!! Awesome new Verve stamps AND free papercrafting goodies...it doesn't get much better than that!!
You won't want to miss the July 2011 Stamp Collection! All three brand new sets (Small Phrases, New Mercies, & Words Cannot Express) and 3 new Plain Janes (Light Tomorrow, Philippians 1:6, & Life is Good) are all bundled together at a 15% discount! Prices are good through July 31st, while supplies last.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope your day is fabulous! ~Laurie

And here is the inside of the card! How fun would it be to open a card and discover some cash? :-)
Well, that's all from me today! We're still in the middle of swimming lessons. so I had better go and get ready! I hope you have a fun filled day! ~Laurie
