Hello again!  I'm popping in here to share a quick card I whipped up yesterday as well as a photo! 

I had sone spare time yesterday, so I was able to get a little inky!  I love it when that happens!  I pulled out Teeny Trees (one of my all time favorite Waltzingmouse stamp sets) and whipped up this quickie card!

This photo is one that I took a couple of days ago.  Now that our kids are in school, I have been getting up before the sun does again.  While I am not necessarily a morning person, I do enjoy seeing the beautiful sunrises!  I thought this one was especially pretty!

Classy & Fabulous...

Good morning!  The new Glitz collections have arrived arrived at my house, and let me tell you...they are even prettier in person!  I am in paper love!  I usually always have a favorite, but I love all three new collections (Beautiful Dreamer, Vintage Blue, & Dance in Sunshine) so much that I can't decide which I love more!  :-)

  

Here is a quick & simple tag I created using some of the new Beautiful Dreamer collection!  I just adore how each collection has so many coordinating elements!  It makes paper crafting in a hurry easy and beautiful!  :-)

How Tweet of You...

Pep Rally week continues over at the Paper Smooches blog!  Today Kim is sharing peeks of the soon to be released My Peeps set...and one of the projects shared is a card I made!  :-)

The more I've been making round cards, the more I realize that I love them!  There's just something about them that is a little bit more special than an ordinary sharped card, don't you think?  :-) 

I love pairing Kim's whimsical images with soft and shabby papers!  I know they are two completely different styles, but I just really like the look of it!  Here, I stamped the bird, musical note, and sentiment from the new My Peeps set (from Paper Smooches).

CASEing Moe...

Hi there!  I don't know about you, but my weekend absolutely flew by!  It is so hard to believe that it is Monday again!  :-)

Today, I'm sharing a card with you that I made a little while ago.  I made it for the current Diva Dare Challenge (going on right now over at the Verve Blog)!  The challenge is to CASE-a-Diva! 

I don't know if you have checked out the Diva's galleries lately, but if you haven't you definitely should!  They are jammed packed with GORGEOUS and creative eye candy! 

It was my pleasure to be able to CASE Maureen (aka Moe)!  The only problem I had was that it took me 2 days to finally decide which card of hers I was going to CASE!  I mean, how is anyone supposed to choose??  Moe has such a gift for pairing beautiful colors together...and have you SEEN her amazing sewing she does on her cards?  She even uses all sorts of fun colored thread!!  I finally chose THIS gorgeous beauty of hers as inspiration for my card!

I used the Bountiful Harvest set (which happens to be 25% off right now!!) to make a Fall/Halloween themed card!  I just adore Julee's whimsical pumpkins!!  SO cute!!

Life is Beautiful...

TGIF!!  Woohoo for Friday!!  :-)  Today, I have the privilege of hosting this week's Viva la Verve Challenge over in the Verve Forum! 

 

 Recently there has been some brand new patterned paper showing up on my doorstep (well, actually at my mailbox which is 5 miles away) and I have been eager to use it!  And with all of Verve's awesome new tag stamps/dies I thought this kind of sketch would be fun!

  

For my card, I combined the Tag Time and Sunny Days sets (both from Verve).  To cut out the tag, I used the new Tagged Rectangle die (also from Verve)!  The patterned paper is from the new Generations 6 x 6 pad from Simple Stories. 

 

You should definitely go and check out the Verve Forum!  Not only can you read bout all the sketch challenge details, but there is info on how you could win the ENTIRE next Verve release!!  It doesn't get much better than that!!  :-)

For my card, I used the new Hot Concoctions set!  One of my all time favorite things is coffee...so I was beyond thrilled to see Kim's new set!  My DH is not a coffee drinker (GASP!), but loves (and I do mean LOVES) hot chocolate. I was so glad to see that many of the images can be used for other hot drinks as well!

Boo!

Good morning!  It's such a beautiful day here today!  The sun is streaming in our windows, warming everything up!  I love it!  :-)

Kim has done it again!  She's created a set that makes me giggle every time I see it!  I just adore these pumpkins, and that silly grin is just the best!  For my card, I used two images (the second image is the bat embossed on the background paper) and a sentiment from the new Halloweenies set from Paper Smooches.

That's all from me today!  I get to spend a little time in my stamp room today so it should be a great day!  LOL!

September Waltzingmouse Release Waltz!

Good morning!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend!  :-)  Today is the BIG day!  Waltzingmouse Stamps is release four brand new sets!  All of the previews you've been seeing on the Design Team blogs have led up to this!

To celebrate the new release, we're having a blog waltz (blog hop)!  Not only will you see lots and lots of creativity using the new sets, but there is a PRIZE involved!  Oh yeah!  :-)  So, head on over to Claire's blog if you haven't already, and she will get you started on the Waltz!

  

  For my first card, I used the new Christmas Cottage set!  I trimmed a little of the house away, making this one a smaller cottage (mostly so that it would fit on my doily better Teeheee)!  Even though I paper pieced the cottage using some coordinating paper (from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas Collection), I still added some shading and coloring using my Copics.  I covered the snow with some chunky Champagne colored chunky glass glitter.  I also added a burgundy button to the front door...sort of like a Christmas wreath!  :-)



My next card features the trees from the Christmas Cottage set as well as a sentiment from the Say it Loud Autumn/Winter set!  I kept this one simple in design with the idea of possibly mass producing it in the back of my mind!

September Waltzingmouse Previews Day 3...

Hi again!  Welcome to day three of the September Waltzingmouse preview!  Have you been enjoying all the peeks so far?  You are going to absolutely LOVE the new sets!  :-) 

Today, the DT is previewing the set Hocus Pocus!  Hocus Pocus is another fun Halloween set that can either stand alone, or be combined with so many of Claire's other Halloween sets!  Sooo many possibilities!

  

I used three different images from the Hocus Pocus set to create my scene above.  Don't you just love all the detail Claire has added to the stamps?  Who knew Halloween stamps could be beautiful?  LOL!  I kept my card fairly simple...using patterned paper as the background, adding a circle (I thought it looked like a Harvest Moon) to mimic the patterned paper, a punched border along the bottom, and a ribbon and button to finish it off!
