Gratefulness. I really love this word. Being grateful is something that I aspire to every day. It expresses so much in just one word. Gratefulness has the power to change my whole attitude, not to mention the outcome of my day. I am truly a happier person when I focus on all that I have to be grateful for!
Yesterday, while the kids were at school and the house was all quiet I slipped into my stamp room to create. I didn't have a lot of time, so I chose to make something clean & simple. I specifically wanted to create a card for a family in town who has been so wonderful to our family.
I used the Tall Oaks set (from Verve Stamps) and a simple, but fun layout to create this card. You all know that I normally like to pile on the layers (it's an addiction really). Even though I was purposefully making a clean and simple card, it still felt a bit naked to me. I resisted my urge to add copious amounts of cardstock layers and embellishments and decided to spritz the finished card with my air art tool and a Creamy Caramel marker instead.
Enabler Alert! I just saw that Tall Oaks is currently on sale this month! Woot!
Well, that's all I have to share today. Thanks so much for stopping by! ~Laurie
