Hi there! It's my turn to share the cards I created for this month's Blog Challenge! The challenge this month is to create masculine themed projects. Living with four guys (my DH and three sons), I am constantly in need of masculine cards. I have finally overcome my "masculine card phobia" (or should I say fear of not using all the beautiful embellishments my heart desires). :-)
I created this first card for my Father-in Law. My husband's parents live in Switzerland. Even though they don't celebrate Father's Day, we like to send him cards and gifts to let him know how much we love and appreciate him!
I used a small piece of a Happy Travels Paper Layer over a stamped background. The focal image is a Whatnot also from the Happy Travels collection.
For my second card, I used more of the Happy Travels collection (Paper Layers, Cardstock Stickers, & Clear Stamps). I kept the sentiment generic so that I could use it for many different occasions.
As much as I do like making masculine cards, I have to admit that it's always hard not to add flowers and bows! LOL!
Here's a look at this month's blog challenge...
Thanks so much for joining me here today! ~Laurie
