Hi there! I've got a couple of cards to share with you...and some fun packaging for them!
It's no secret...I love cards! I love to make them and I love to give them away! Sometimes, a simple envelope just doesn't seem like enough to package a card you've spent time and love creating. So, while looking through my stash I came across some kraft "bakery" bags. If you don't have any of these, don't worry! You could make your own with some paper.
I chose an already patterned bag and dressed it up using several Dance in Sunshine goodies: two different patterned papers, Epoxy Words, a Peek-A-Boo, Cardstock Stickers, & a Giant Rhinestone.
Here's a photo of the card that I created to go into the matching bag. I used coordinating papers and embellishments. I think this card would be perfect for a birthday or even a thank you card!
For my second project, I made...another card and matching bag! I was having too much fun to stop. :-) This time, I broke into my Vintage Blue collection (with some Dance in Sunshine thrown in for good measure). Here's a tip for you card makers out there. When one of the Whatnots are too big to fit onto a standard card, don't be afraid to cut them down! That's what I did with the heart garland above! In fact, this is the "leftover" from a previous project. I thought it fit perfectly in the corner and is in keeping with the eclectic collage type look I was going for. :-)
Again, I kept my card design similar to the matching bag using products from both the Vintage Blue and Dance in Sunshine collections.
