...when her 8 year old son asks her to make him a card? Well, make him one of course! :-) My middle son has been asking me for several weeks if I would make him a card. He even requested that I put it in his lunchbox so he will be surprised at school! LOL! How could I resist a request like that? :-)
Isn't that robot the cutest?? As soon as I saw him, I know he needed to be the focal point of my card! :-) I pulled out the Super Stud Label Additions paper and cut apart a few of the patterned strips and images. I added some Bits A Bella (also from the Super Stud collection), a Sophisticates Ciao Chip, and an Orange Star button for embellishment. After I layered it all on a kraft base, I sponged the edges so that they would stand out a bit more.
Here's a close-up of the Ciao Chip. I popped it up to add some dimension.
In this close-up, you can better see the Bits A Bella stickers I added (the photo corner and blue star). It's hard to see in this photo, but the blue star sticker is popped up a little bit.
For my next card, I took some non-themed paper and created a Halloween card! I just love cute Halloween cards...nothing too scary...and Bella BLVD's bright and fun style is perfect for them! I combined three of the Sophisticates papers together (Plum, Oyster, & Apricot) to create the background for my card. I die cut the numbers (31) from some Making the Team paper. The sweet little pumpkin tag is from the Thankful Alpha & Bits. To finish the card, I added some alphabet stickers and some matching buttons!

In this close-up you can see the caaaauuuuuute buttons I added! It's true...I'm totally addicted to the Orange Star buttons! :-)
