Hi there! I couldn't sleep last night...my eyes were glued to the news watching the storm unfold on the east coast. My heart is so heavy for those dealing with the horrendous effects of this hurricane! This Country we live in is large...yet the paper crafting community makes it feel so much smaller. My family is praying for all of you effected by this storm. Please stay safe!!
I'm back with my card for the first day of the Waltzingmouse Stamps New Release Preview!
I used both the Yonder Star set and Yonder Star Backgrounder on my card. I have to tell you, this is probably my favorite set from this release! And that's not an easy thing to say, because this release is amazing! Truly! This set is perfect for our family (we live on a cattle ranch in Montana), and I can't wait to send our Christmas cards out using it! Our family and friends in Europe have a definite fascination with the West...I mean, who wouldn't!
I stamped the Yonder Star Backgrounder using some Soft Leaf ink (Hero Arts). I just love the homespun quilt look it has! For the focal image, I stamped one of the large quilted stars in red ink and then layered the sentiment on top.
You definitely won't want to miss seeing what the other ladies have created!!
