Hi there! Can you believe that I'm posting two days in a row? :-) Things truly have been busy around here as I prepare for Christmas.
Today I am sharing the cards/gift card holders that I made for our boys' teachers!
I used a file that I purchased from the Silhouette Store for the shapes. I embellished each one using felt that I die cut using a couple of different dies.
This is the one that I created for the only male teacher, so I didn't add as many "fluffy" and girly embellishments.
Here's a peek at the inside. I embossed the sentiment (from the Merry & Bright set from Verve) on a piece of coordinating patterned paper.
On the other two, I created poinsettias that I cut out with felt. The patterned paper is all from Echo Park's This & That collection. As a finishing touch, I spritzed on some Shine Spray.
I stamped the snowflake (also from Verve's Merry & Bright set) using white craft ink.
I plan on tucking a gift card behind each tag insert. Of course I will be giving them with a plate of home baked goodies! :-)
