Hi there! Welcome to the December Waltzingmouse Release Waltz! If you've joined me here via Julia's blog, then you are right where you should be in this waltz! :-) To start from the beginning, head on over to Claire's blog. (Pssst, you will want to visit ALL of the blogs today because there is prize hidden along the way! More on that below...)
All four brand new sets are now available at the Waltzingmouse Store! Also, there is now an option to have your sets shipped directly from the U.S. (this is GREAT news for those of us that live here in the USA)! Not only will you get your new goodies faster, but there will be a flat rate shipping option as well! Woohoo! Check out this post on Claire's blog for the low down (that's me trying to be cool... LOL!).
For my card today, I used the new My Heart set. Most of you know that I just recently have returned home from an extended stay in Seattle where my daughter had two brain surgeries. I am happy to report that they both went well! As you can imagine, though, the recovery and therapy time needed is pretty significant. I haven't been able to participate in all of the preview days, but plan on getting all the new sets inky very, very soon!
One of the first cards I made, though, was this one. I LOVE this set! I say this (I Love You More) to my daughter all the time, and I couldn't wait to make her a card using it! I chose some pretty colors for the background (I used the long leafy stamp included in this set) to create a rainbow of sorts. I stamped the sentiment using one of the colors I used in the background and then punched it out with a heart punch. The sweet little woodgrain heart (also included in the My Heart set) is popped up for some added dimension.
So, you want to know how you can win some shiny new Waltzingmouse stamps?? Just leave a comment on each of the Design Team blogs today to be entered! You have until December 4th at 6:59 AM Eastern to leave your comments. The winner will be announced over at Claire's blog on December 5th!
Next up on the Waltz is the wildly talented Sarah!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! ~Laurie
