Note: Sorry for the delay! My post didn't go live when it was supposed to...but is all fixed now! Thank you for your patience!
I am so excited for Iwona and the girls over at the CASE Study Blog! They have been providing inspiration and introducing us to fabulous stampers for 3 years now! As a previous Muse, it is an honor for me to be participating in this special hop! If you are hopping along with us (and you really should because there are some amazing artists being featured), you will have arrived here from Kryssi Ng's blog. If you are just joining me here today, you can always head back over to the CASE Study Blog and they will start you on your way!
There are some ginormous prizes being offered up (more details can be found over at the CASE Study Blog), so make sure you visit all of the blogs and leave a little comment love along the way! :-)
Speaking of inspiration, that is what this hop is all about! We were asked to create a card from inspiration that we find. One of the places that I most often use as inspiration for my cards is my very own paper crafting stash! It's no secret...I adore paper! Sometimes an embellishment or other goodie will spark my creation...but most often it is the paper.
So, I spent a few minutes looking through some of the new paper I have added to my stash recently and was immediately inspired by Bella BLVD's new Snapshots collection. Oh the yumminess of it all! :-)
I'm not a stamper that usually starts with a sketch or anything organized like that! Hee! I honestly just pick out papers that jump out at me, arrange them in a way that I like, and then reach for some stamps that will fit! It's an odd way of doing things, I know, but it works for me. :-)
After arranging and rearranging the papers, I was struck by how I loved the strips of color against the gray background. That got me thinking about the Dream in Color set from Reverse Confetti. I chose a sentiment that fit the area I had designated for it, and then finished the card with some embellishments!
Ready to keep hopping? Your next stop is the super sweet Amy Sheffer!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs, Laurie
