Do you follow along with the monthly Diva Dares over at the Verve Blog? There is always a ton of inspiration...not to mention several ways to win some fabby prizes! Personally, they are my favorite Verve challenges as the ways to interpret them are so open! Take this month for example...the theme is Tic-Tac-Toe! At first, I was stumped...but then all of the possibilities started to dawn on me! Grids, triple stamping, x's and o's, as well as squares or circles...it all has so much creative potential!
Well, today is my turn to share how I answered this month's Diva Dare! You can see my entire post HERE!
I went quite literally with this month's theme, making a grid of sorts by stitching on the vellum cardstock. I used flowers as the "o's"and hearts as the "x's". The flowers are from Verve's Dream Big set (each cut out using the Scalloped Flowers Die Set). The small heart, large heart, and sentiment are all from the Love Notes set. I cut the large heart out using the Jotted Heart Die. The pretty aqua seam binding ribbon is from Verve's Signature Ribbon Collection (have I mentioned how thrilled I am that Verve is now offering ribbon?).
Don't forget to pop on over to the Verve Blog! There are some wonderful prizes up for grabs! :-)
Thanks for stopping by! ~Laurie
