Good morning! It's been a rough week here in the Schmidlin household, as many of our kiddos had the norovirus. :-( I'm glad my husband is one that is completely hands on with the kids (meaning he's not afraid to change diapers or clean up after the stomach flu)! Between the two of us we have weathered the storm! The only one still under the weather is our little minimuggins (the nickname DH gave to Lucas). Even when he's sick, he's still got a smile for us! He's a keeper, that's for sure! :-)
The other day, I had a little "me" time. A very rare occurrence these days, so I enjoyed every minute of it! After taking a hot shower (and not the "you've got 3 minutes because Lucas wants to eat" kind either), I spent a little time in my stamp room! I pulled out one of my favorite Verve sets, Each Day, and got a little inky! The paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Creative Girl collection. I just love all the pinks and different patterns! I added some gold accents (like the butterfly (also from the Each Day set) that I embossed n gold onto vellum cardstock.
So, I have a question for you all before I leave. Is it helpful to you if I list the supplies I used? I'll admit that I rarely do it because I'm not sure if it's worth the extra time. If it would help you, I would gladly do it! Just let me know what you think about it in the comments! :-)
Well, Lucas is up from his 5 minute nap! Apparently, he's a "power napper" like his dad! LOL!
Have a great day friends! Hugs, Laurie
