Good morning! Welcome to the Reverse Confetti "Spring is in the Air" Blog Hop! I chose to create a teacher thank you gift. As a mom of 5, Spring usually means that I had better start preparing for the end of the year teacher and other school gifts!

Tell us that you posted on your blog about our blog hop
(which means that you have up to three extra chances to win on each blog)
My card features the new Waves Die Set! This is such a versatile fun die set...one that will be a staple for me! Instead of using them as waves, I decided to turn them into scalloped borders. I also used the new Feathers 2 Die set as well as the previously released Many Thanks stamp set!
My second card features Beth's new Delicate Damask stamp set. For the focal image damask, I did a little double stamping with the White Pigment Ink as the base. I love how this softens the image! :-)
For my third and final card, I used Melanie's new Triple Play stamp set. I stamped one of the small flower images onto some gingham patterned paper. I thought a circle shaped card would give the card more of a feminine feel. :-)

Good morning! I can't believe it's Friday already! Time seems to be going by faster and faster!
The other day while in my stamp room, I started playing around with my Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils. I absolutely LOVE the look of colored pencils but have always been intimidated by them. I guess I was afraid that my end result would look very similar to the art projects I brought home to my mom in the 2nd grade! :-) Well, let me tell you...these pencils are NOT the colored pencils I remember from school! Not only do they come in so many delicious colors, but they are incredibly smooth and opaque! They blend so easily!! They are magic pencils that have the mystical ability to make me look like I know what I'm doing! Ha!!
For this card, I started by stamping the leaf image from the Birthday Blessings stamp set from Gina K using White Pigment ink on to dark gray cardstock. I heat set the stamped images to make sure they were dry before attempting to color them. I chose three colors (color numbers 50, 52, & 62).
Happy Monday friends! It's going to be a beautiful day here and I can't wait to get outside and shake off a little of the cabin fever we've all had lately! It's been too long since we've been able to enjoy a little sunshine!
Speaking of sunshine, I have a bright and cheery card to share with you today...
I think my favorite thing about Jen's sketches are that they leave so much room for personalization! You can create a CAS (clean and simple) card or layer it up and make a more detailed one! It's such a great way to spark creativity! :-)
It was all about the layers for me this time! :-) I used lots of different patterned papers together with some vellum to soften it up a bit. The die cut is from the new Fancy Words Confetti Cuts die set and the sentiment is from the Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set.

Good morning! Welcome to the April Reverse Confetti release hop! All of the new goodies that you have been seeing over the past few days are now available over at the Reverse Confetti store!
The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Sarah Gough's blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!
For my card, I used the new Leaping Lions stamp set and coordinating Leaping Lions Confetti Cuts die set. This sentiment totally cracks me up...I love it! I also love how the sweet bunting has two different pattern stamps that are separate so you can customize it!
I turned my card into a shaker card using the new Shakers N Frames Confetti Cuts die set! I love how even the confetti is included with the die set!
I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Next up on the hop is Susan Liles. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
Before I go, here is some info on this month's sketch challenge...

Welcome to day two of the Reverse Confetti April release sneak peeks! It's getting close! Only one more day to wait! Tomorrow, Reverse Confetti will release five new stamps sets, eight new Confetti Cuts die sets, & the new Pina Coloada Quick Card Panels!
Today the Confetti Crew ladies are sharing projects made with the new Fancy Words Confetti Cuts and Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set!
I've said this before, but I can't help myself...I am so smitten with the Quick Card Panels! And this month's Pina Colada collection is absolute perfection! I used my favorite QCP on my card, along with one of the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts and a small stamped sentiment from the Fancy Words Coordinates stamp set. The sentiment stamp actually reads "i miss you...a lot" but I wanted to use this particular one with my thank you stamp. To do this, I only inked up the part that wanted and then embossed it using silver embossing powder.
You can see the whole list of Confetti Crew members sharing projects today over at the Reverse Confetti Blog! You can also read about the two $15 Gift Certificate giveaways (one for leaving comments on the Confetti Crew Blogs and one on the Reverse Confetti Facebook Page)!
