The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Leigh Penner's blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see, all using the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!
My first card features the new Lovely Words Confetti Cuts die set, Lovely Words Coordinates stamp set, and the Double Heart Garland Confetti Cuts die set. I had pictures this card in my head the moment I first saw the Double Heart Garland Confetti Cuts dies, and couldn't wait to make it! I started by brushing on some white and off white acrylic paint across a piece of colored cardstock. I then added some sage green ink spatters, giving it a little more texture. For the focal image, I layered on the heart garland using dimensional foam.
After I die cut the "love" word (from the new Lovely Words Confetti Cuts die set), I brushed on some acrylic paint to the bottom half of the word. I added glitter to the top half and then combined it with one of the sentiments from the Lovely Words Coordinates stamp set. For embellishment, I added some various sized pearls and a couple of flowers from my stash.
My next card features one of my favorite dies from this release, the Mini Envie Confetti Cuts. It's such a fun size, perfect for adding to cards or tucking a gift card in there! I embossed the xoxo image from Big Notes stamp set on the front of the little envie.
As you can see, I tucked a little piece of cardstock in there with a sentiment (from the Lovely Words Coordinates stamp set) stamped on the front. To complete the whole sentiment, I added the "sweet" die cut word (from the Lovely Words Confetti Cuts die set) to the bottom of the card.
To carry over the theme from the front of the card, I stamped the "xoxo" sentiment again on the little tag. I decorated the front of the tag (as well as the front of the card) with some vellum hearts (die cut from the Stamped Note Confetti Cuts die set).
Thanks for stopping by!
