Today, the Confetti Crew will be sharing projects created with the new Candles 'n Confetti and Celebrations stamp sets and well as the coordinating Candles 'n Confetti Confetti Cuts die set!
You are going to LOVE the sets being shown today! I think that one of my favorite things about Reverse Confetti stamps is that they are so versatile! These two new sets can be used for just about every holiday or occasion!
For my card, I started by embossing the confetti image from the Celebrations stamp set at the top of my background cardstock using black embossing powder. I wanted a subtle tone-on-tone look. I then embossed one of the sentiments from the same set at the bottom, this time using gold embossing powder.
For the focal image, I stamped the cake (from the new Candles 'n Confetti stamp set) in a very light gray ink. I then embossed the confetti/dots image on top of the cake and finally I cut it out using the coordinating Candles 'n Confetti Confetti Cuts die set. To create the black ribbon, I embossed the ribbon/bow image and then die cut it out. For the cake stand, I embossed it onto some shimmery gold cardstock and then die cut it out. I considered adding some ribbon or other embellishments to my card, but in the end I opted for the clean, elegant look.
That's all from me today! Make sure to stop back by tomorrow for more peeks! :-)
