Hi there! This is my last week as a guest designer for The Card Concept. It's been so much fun, and those ladies over there are so very talented!!
Here's the challenge/inspiration...
If you are new to The Card Concept, it is such a fun and unique blog. Every couple of weeks there is a new inspiration photo where the design team shares cards made in almost every paper crafting style! They asked me to create a shabby chic style card. This was not hard for me as that is one of my favorite kinds to make! :-)
Here is what I came up with...
I started with some patterned papers that were both vintage and colorful. I then embossed the three flowers from the Kindness Matters stamp set (from Verve Stamps) and then adding some watercolor. I die cut the flowers using the coordinating Great Kindness Die Set. For the sentiment, I embossed it using black detail embossing powder on to the vellum.
