The products being highlighted today are a perfect combination of creative innovation, whimsical encouragement, and classic versatility! It's amazing to me what a small gift and uplifting card can do for someone who isn't feeling well! Letting someone know that they are cared (especially during an illness or injury), to me is the embodiment of kindness!
All of the new products will be at 10 pm EST on December 15 in the Papertrey Ink store.
I created a small care package full of items to ease a cold. Tis the season, right? Here in Montana the winter can last a very long time, so I know I will be getting a lot of use out of these stamps and dies!
I purposefully chose bright and vibrant colors, because as well as being useful I hope this will bring a little sunshine into the recipient's day! I chose a palette of Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz, and Harvest Gold. I was cheered up just creating it! :-)
The little bucket is one that I picked up at Target in their holiday section. The size is perfect, a little larger than the smaller pails. I embellished the front with some ribbon and a stamped and die cut floral spring from the new Fresh Bouquet stamp set and coordinating Fresh Bouquet die.
One of the items I included inside is a cluster of Cold Care teas. I wrapped them up with some twine and added a Tremendous Tag stamped with one of the clever sentiments from the new Take It Easy stamp set (designed by Erin Lincoln).
This Tissue Box Holder die (designed by Erin Lincoln) might possibly be my favorite thing in this care package! Tissues are are such an ordinary item, but dressed up like this they are so fun! Inside is a regular package of travel sized tissues. I added a Raspberry Fizz bow and another Tremendous Tag. I stamped and die cut the tissue box from Take It Easy stamps and coordinating Take It Easy die set.
To create the tissue box I die cut the Tissue Box Holder twice. I then die cut the opening on only of the die cuts, using the oval die included in the set. Before assembling my box I stamped the outline image from the Fresh Bouquet stamp set several times using Smokey Shadow ink.
I created a second box box using Raspberry Fizz cardstock. Instead of cutting the oval opening in the box, I used it to add a label to the top of the box with another of the sentiments from the Take It Easy set stamped on it.
I didn't want an opening cut in this box as I planned on filling it with cough drops. This is truly a very versatile die, one that I plan on using for many different occasions!
The final item from the care package is this little bag that I filled with some potent Vitamin C drink packets (these are a staple at my house in the winter). I decorated this bag using the clever new Cozy Bed die set from Erin Lincoln. I just adore all of the detail on these dies...just look at that pillow sham! So fun! These would also be great for a sleepover invitation! Or a hostess thank you! So many options!
To go with the care package, I created a coordinating card. I loved the look of the Fresh Bouquet outline image so much that I used it again here on my card. I made use of three of the dies included in the Noted: A2 Scallop Vertical Die set. The sentiment is from the new Keep It Simple: Sending Hugs stamp set.
