Hi there! Today, a few friends are putting on a blog hop with the sole purpose of uplifting and encouraging Jen Del Muro! A little while ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. If there is anyone on this planet that will completely kick this disease's rear, it is Jen. That #Beastmode hashtag...yeah, that is her motto. And she is crushing it!
I first "met" Jen online, when we were on a design team together. I was then later able to meet her in real life, which is still a memory I treasure! <3
If you are unfamiliar with Jen, let me tell you a little about her. She is the owner of Reverse Confetti, a fabulous paper crafting store full of beautiful and creative goodies! In addition to that, she is fierce. Fierce in her loyalty, fierce in her kindness, fierce in her support of others, and fierce in her determination to make this horrible disease a stepping stool to greater things! I admire and respect her so much, and witnessing her honesty and determination in this journey has only multiplied those feelings for me. Jen, you are remarkable. Really, you are! And, you are loved!
Here's the card I created for her. Of course I chose pink! :-) I added a quick pink watercolor wash on the background and then splattered on some silver and white paint. I embossed the sentiment from The Lord's Strength stamp set and then framed it with the largest wreath from the Wreaths Confetti Cuts die set. I added a bouquet of flowers stamped with the Blooms 'n Buds stamp set and die cut with the coordinating Blooms 'n Buds Confetti Cuts. I even tucked in a few wheat sprigs, die cut from the Wheat Confetti Cuts die set.
Ready for more #Beastmode inspiration? The next stop on the hop is the sweet and talented Melissa Phillips. If you get lost along the way, here is the hop list...
