Hi again! I'm back today with a quick but fun card to share with you! Every year, the end of the school year sneaks up on me and I usually am scrambling to get thank you cards and gifts put together for my boys' teacher. I decided that I would change that this year! :-)
When I sat down to create this card, I was trying to picture what my middle school aged son would like, as he will be giving this to his teacher. My first instinct was to add ALL the ribbons, hearts, and glitter...but then my better judgement took over. Ha! I decided to go with a more modern and graphic look.
I started by die cutting the ABC Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die out of black cardstock. With the stark contrast of the white card base, I felt like the only thing it needed was a pop of color!
For the focal image, I stamped one of the apples from the All Apples stamp set in Lime Green ink and die cut it using the coordinating All Apples Confetti Cuts die set. I wanted a bit more color, so I tucked in another apple, die cut using Salsa and Lime Green cardstocks.
Well, that's all from me today!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
