I just love Melanie's Stately Flowers collection! She always adds so many little details that make each one so versatile! The newest one, Stately Flowers 11 is probably my favorite one yet!
For my first card, I chose to use the Syringa Mock Orange flower. I have a confession to make. I have never seen these flowers before (at least not that I know of) so I had to google them. While I do think they are pretty, I was really wanting to color them with my favorite colors and not leave them white or a pale yellow. So, claiming creative license (please forgive me Melanie) I went ahead and colored them in very pretty yet entirely unrealistic colors! :-) They do make me happy though!
For my second card, I colored the Indian Paintbrush (which I totally have seen before LOL) more true to life. I have to say that the postcard frame and cancellation image is my favorite part of this set! It's large enough to use with almost any image!! How cute would this be for a Christmas card? Love!
It may be hard to see in the photo, but I embossed the same Indian Paintbrush image onto the black background with black detail embossing powder.
My next card features Theresa's new Daisy Delight stamp set. While the super large daisy image is most definitely my favorite, I have to say that the lovely silhouette images are also gorgeous! I kept my card simple with a one color watercolor wash for the background. I added the ladybug for a bright pop of color.
I posted this card last Friday on my blog (because I missed the release party) but wanted to share here it again. I just looooove this large daisy!!!
