Welcome to the first day of inspiration posts featuring the brand new October Papertrey Ink release! There are so many amazing products just released, and for five days the design team will be sharing a lot of inspiration featuring the new items!
Today I'm sharing cards that I created using the new Sing a Song of Christmas and Ways to Say: Merry Christmas stamp sets.
Betsy has done it again! The new Sing a Song of Christmas is both fun and elegant at the same time!
I started by die cutting the Green Parakeet layer using the new Mix & Mat: Snowflakes die set. I stamped, die cut, and layered two of the musical instrument images from the new Sing a Song of Christmas stamp set.
I added in some greenery from the previously released Holiday Greens stamp set. I think these two sets go together perfectly! :-)
For my second card, I went with a clean, modern look. I do love to create multi-layered Christmas cards but I also love to create (and mass produce) clean and more simple Christmas cards as well.
For the focal image, I die cut two of the snowflakes from the Silver White Winters and then added a gold epoxy dot to the top.
The background paper is from the new Bitty Big: Dark Indigo pack (LOVE) and the decorative edge was created using one of the new To the Point Edgers II dies.
I embossed the sentiment (from the new Ways to Say: Merry Christmas stamp set) using fine gold embossing powder on a strip of the patterned paper that I popped up using foam tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you haven't done so yet, make sure to check out Nichole's blog as her post is just brimming with inspiration today!
