XXX It's day four of the November Papertrey Ink countdown posts! Today I have three cards featuring the new Flower Power stamp set, designed by Lexi Daly.
The new release will be available for purchase on November 15th at 10 pm ET!
Flower Power is one of those timeless sets that is perfect for anytime of year! For my first card, I created a fall inspired bouquet. I used many of the flowers and leaf images in the set, combined with the coordinating Flower Power die set. I popped many of the images up to create a more dimensional look.
For the background, I layered a piece of the new Bitty Big: Prairie Grass patterned paper onto a white card base. I framed the flower bouquet with one of the frames from the Leaf & Sprig Frames die set, die cut out of Olive Twist cardstock.
For my next card, I wanted to create a card with more Spring like colors. I started by stenciling on a partial background using the new Stencil Basics: Quatrefoil stencil along with Berry Sorbet and Pure Poppy ink. I didn't want a solid red color, so I first stenciled on the Berry Sorbet and then blended just a bit of the Pure Poppy color on towards the bottom for an ombre effect. I stamped one of the smallest flowers from the Flower Power set onto the stenciled design.
For embellishment, I added a bit of stitching and a few sequins.
For the focal image, I used two of the new Window Works dies. I die cut the square one from Raspberry Fizz cardstock, popping the outer frame part up using dimensional foam. The oval circle is actually the inside part of the oval frame die. The flourish pieces are from the same oval die, I just die cut an extra one to add to the bottom. I am loving all of the details included in the new Window Works die set!
