Just Give Me Stamps...

CHA Part 2 (all the fun new products)...

Hi again!  I'm back to share photos of some of my favorite new photos.  This time, I will share photos of some of my favorite new products! Grab a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy...

Up first is Authentique!  Trust me on this, my photos do not do these gorgeous papers justice!  Do you see those 6 x 6 papers?  They are not be sold by packs...you can buy them individually!  And to top it all off, they have the most yummylicious textures to them!  LOVE it!

Here are a few projects that were displayed in the Authentique booth.  I truly can't wait to get my hands on these papers!

I'll bet these hands need no introduction!  :-)  I took this photo while Tim Holtz was demoing his new Ink Refresher spray!  I am definitely going to get me some of that stuff!  I'm sure there will be You Tube videos on it soon (if not already)!  You can also see the new Distress Markers in this photo as well.  Those are intriguing for sure! 

Here is one of Tim Holtz's new Texture Fades embossing folders.  I LOVE this one! 

Something else new that Tim Holtz has come up with is Kraft Core Core'Dinations!  I want me some of this goodness!  :-)

Oh, and let me just tell you that the new My Mind's Eye papers are ALL gorgeous!!  They were all so wonderful...too many to take photos of!  You can see them all over at their website.  Oh, and they *may* or *may not* already be on their way to my house!  Teeheheee!

OH!  And twelve brand new Memento Inks!!  I love my Memento inks and absolutely LOVE the new colors!  The red is a beautiful deep cherry red in person...and the new Toffee Crunch looks like THE perfect tan!!  Mmm,mmmm!

I took this photo in the Melissa Frances booth.  Just LOOK at that purse!  Oh MYLANTA!  I am definitely going to get my hands on that beautiful thing!  And I know JUST the beautiful flower to put on it....

The red canvas flower!!!  I LOVE them!  This photo is of some of the pretty canvas flowers displayed in the Canvas Corp booth! 

This photo was also taken in the Canvas Corp booth.  Just look at all that yummy burlap and krafty goodness!!

Speaking of yummy, check out these beautiful Serenity Collection from Bo Bunny!  Such eye candy!

How about these burlap flowers from Prima?  They are even more fabulous in person!!  LOVE them!

I know this isn't really stamping or paper crafting related, but I was just SO taken with this gorgeous embroidery! 

This photo was taken in the Scor-Pal booth.  Let me tell you...what you are looking at is some seriously AMAZING tools!  So much so, that they were one of the first things I ordered!  The first one is the No More Shims Embossing Mat (its pictured under the lace).  It is SO amazing!  You can use anything your heart desires (or whatever you have around the house) and emboss with them!  You can see the gold metal paper on the right that was embossed using the metal pieces in the photo.  Amazing I tell ya!  And the Stay Put Craft Mat is equally amazing!  It works just like the Ranger one, but you can emboss directly on it (it won't bubble or overheat) and you can clean it by throwing it in the dishwasher!  No joke!!  I love this thing! 

Last but not least are photos that I took during the Copic class that Tosh, Linda Duke, and I took the first day!  Suzanne Dean taught it, and it was one of the best parts of CHA for me!  She is a fabulous teacher, and if you ever get the chance to take a class with her, take it!!  You can also take some of her online classes (I plan on taking a few myself)! 

How pretty are all those Copic markers??  That's happiness right there...

CHA Part 1...

Hi friends!  I am just now recovering from my trip to CHA!  It was SO fun!!  There was not a whole lot of sleep involved, but there was tons of laughing, oogling over new products, eating amazing food, reconnecting with friends, meeting new friends, and even more eating!

I started my trip off at Tosh's house.  We met over 5 years ago, but she's one of those people that you feel like you've known forever, kwim?  Like long-lost sisters.  She's also the only person that can call me "brat" and get away with it (because I know she says it in love"!  LOL!  Seriously though, I don't know what I would do without her...she's definitely a true blue friend!

This photo was taken on our way to CHA.  Linda Duke also rode with us (sadly, I didn't get a photo of her) and it was a treat getting to know her!

I mentioned above that we did a lot of eating.  And by a lot, I mean A LOT!  LOL!  Tosh introduced me to Chipotle (hey, we don't have a lot of great food options in Montana) and I was IN LOVE!  YUM!  We also did our fair share of Cheescake Factory visiting,...  Just sayin'.

This is another photo of the Paper Smooches booth.  I so loved meeting all the ladies helping at the booth:  (from left to right) Kim Kesti, THE Kim Hughes, me, Michelle Gross, & Karolyn Loncon!

I had to show you the goodies Kim was giving away in her Paper Smooches booth!  Teehehee!  Yes, those are gummy smooches!  LOVE it!

I showed you photos of the Cosmo Cricket booth already...but here's one with Tosh and I with Julie Comstock!

Yay!!  I finally got to meet some fellow Verve Divas!!  Susan Liles (left) and Jen del Muro (right) are both super sweet!!

At the Splitcoast Stampers dinner, I got to meet Julie Ebersole (top left) for the very first time!!  I was also able to see Val Stangle (bottom left) and Cindy Lawrence again!  These ladies are SO fun!  I can't remember laughing that hard in a long time!

Last but not least, here is rainbow sock monkey with Heidi Van Laar's angry bird!  It was so fun meeting her, and our traveling buddies got along well, I think!  :-)

Purge Blog Hop Winners Announced (and Some CHA Photos)...

Hi there!  I'm writing from sunny California!  Tosh and I are having a BLAST at CHA!  We are meeting several people for the first time, seeing friends again, and seeing SO much good stuff that will be coming to stores soon!!  Love it!!

Before I get to the winners, I want to share a few of of my favorite photos from my trip so far...

Oh yeah...  Sock Monkey is BACK!  LOL!  Since my friend Tosh *loves* monkeys so much, I like to bring some to her whenever I visit.  You know, so I don't come empty handed and all...  (For those of you that know Tosh, also know how much she actually dislikes monkeys...  Teeheheee!)

First stop this morning was the Glitz booth.  It was SO fun to see some of the projects I created there!  Talk about exciting!!  :-)

Oh and just LOOK at how cute the Paper Smooches booth looks!  It was so fun to meet Kim Hughes in person!  I will share photos of all the wonderful people I meet later (it's almost midnight here as I type this).

One of my favorites from today was the Cosmo Cricket booth!  I cannot wait to get my hands on their new collections!

Whowza!! what a purge! Everything looks amazing! the one item that caught my eye were the pink and brown brads - my husband's co-worker is getting married and their colours are pink & brown, so those would work perfect on the congratulations card.

Oh my goodness, there is an awful lot of stuff there in your "purge files" ... I am a hoarder and I don't know if I'd ever be able to part with ANYTHING that I might one day "neeeeeeeed". I so admire you and your fellow hoppers for doing so!

I LOVE hand-me-downs! It must stem from my having grown up as the second child in my family (and second girl to boot!) so I've cherished "pre-loved" items. Now, grab-bags of gently used or even pre-owned/unused are the BEST!!!!!!

What one item intrigues me? Hmmmm... there's something there marked BAYBERRY COTTAGE. I have no idea what it is and would like to find out. YAY! I could list more, but limit myself to one per your request. I'll be happy for ANYONE who wins part of your stash, and thank you for sharing!

Wow! As much as you are giving away, you could give each commenter a little piece of candy and make us all smile! Talk about sensory overload! I don't have any of the paper packs and would love to play with them. But that little pack of brads on the left side with some plaids and polka dots on them is calling my name! Thanks for an amazing prize and fun hop. I always look forward to your blog posts. There are so many cards and projects that I admire.
