After numerous emails from people requesting to see pictures of my stamp room, I've finally decided to create this page! :-) Even though I think my area is pretty organized, there are still things that are on my "to do later" list...as time permits.
A few answers to questions that I'm sure will arise...
- Yes, my room is this clean...most of the time! I like to clean up after each project, so my space is all ready for the next time I create!
- The large shelving unit on the left of the room is from Ikea. Actually, the desk/tables, shelving unit, & J's desk is allfrom Ikea. I just loved the way Alli Miles positioned her desks together, so I borrowed her idea! It's perfect for helping my kids with school, or extra stamping space!
- I used Jody Morrow's idea for ribbon storage, and bagged all of my loose ribbon in sandwich baggies and sorted them by color.
Oh..one more note before I show you all of the pictures. You will see various "gift items" throughout my stamp room (I marked them as such), and I owe all of these "treasures" to my good friend Tosh! LOL! She knows I don't like skunks (a very long story that I might share sometime...), and she also knows that I think hedgehogs are a bit creepy!! She keeps me grounded... LOL!
This is the view from the door. Sorry about the grainy photo. Yikes!
I ADORE the color of my room... It's just so warm and happy in here! As with all of the pictures on this page, if you would like a larger view, just click on the picture! :-)
Below are some Close-up pictures of those embellishments drawers.
Bottom drawer of my "Metal Embellishments".
And here's the middle drawer! The top drawer is some Prismacolor pencil accessories.
I love having all of my embellishments organized...even though it took me forever to do! Ha!
As you can see, I have more room in the middle drawer!! Woohooo!!! Just kidding...I'm definitely trying NOT to accumulate any more and use what I have!
Definitely my most used drawers! Teehehee!
These drawers are actually located on my shelf like the others, but they were up higher, so I put them on my desk to photograph. :-)
This is where I store the majority of my punches (I say majority because I have a couple of drawers of border/corner punches as well as my smaller ones). The file cabinet that my Cuttlebug is sitting on is where I store all of my cardstock.
Here's a close-up of my Cuttlebug/embossing folders storage. The bars as well as the hanging baskets are from Ikea. (Love that place! :-)
My patterned paper....sigh...I could sleep here! LOL! This is one area where I DO need to spend some more time organizing though...
The door in this picture is a closet. There is NO way I'm showing you pictures of inside that place...LOL!!! This room always seems to be a "work in progress". In between being a mom to four kids, homeschooling, & other commitments there isn't always a lot of extra time. LOL!
This is a picture of the items directly behind my desk. The ink pad holder is from Organize More.
The left side of my desk.
This sits on the right side of my desk.
This under the left side of my desk. I keep all of my most used items (glue, acrylic blocks, ruler, embossing powders, etc.) all within reach.
This is underneath the right side of my desk.
I LOVE my Versamagic Dew Drops!
This is the view of the other side of the room...and is where my oldest son does his school work. The door to our living room is to the left...
I added another set of storage drawers under the "spare" desk (opposite of mine) to store more punches, refills, and other misc. items.
I think my "organizing energy" ran out when it came time to do these drawers... LOL!
Yikes!!! These drawers are a mess!!! :-)
Smaller punches and decorative scissors...
Whew! That's a lot of pictures! LOL!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my stamping space! :-)
