Sharing a Couple of Cards...

Happy Tuesday, friends!  I am stunned at how fast May is going!  It really felt like yesterday that I was sitting here thinking that I have no idea where April went!  Any of you feel this way?  It must have something to do with all of the end of school year activities that have been going on! 

In other news, my 9 year old son was outside playing the other day and tripped over a rock.  Yep, that little thing caused him to break his ankle.  Sheesh!  He's so upset!  The little school that our boys go to takes all of the students to a water resort place on the last day of school (as well as a fun field trip a week before).  Guess who can't go to either one?  :-(  I've mentioned before that it's never boring in our household, right?  LOL!

Speaking of sons...this first card is one that I made for my oldest one!  He will be turning 15 this Fall (I know I'm early with the card...but I thought of him when I saw this set)!

I used the new Digits set from Paper Smooches!  I used all sorts of numbers for the background and then used the 1 and 5 for the focal image. 

I definitely went girly for my second card!  :-)  I used the new Retail Therapy set and created this sparkly card!  I paper pieced the purses then added some coordinating sequins on them.  :-)

For My Best Pal...

Happy Saturday friends!  We don't have any big plans.  The rainy weather kind of put a damper on most of the ranch work my DH had planned, so I just may get to go out to dinner with him later on!  Woohooo!  Got to love rain!  LOL!



Okay, how caaauuuute is that dog?  Those puppy eyes get me every time!  :-)  For my card, I combined the Woofers & Tweeters set with the brand new Woofers dies (and the Woofers Extras dies).  I die cut a bunch of bones and piled them in the brown bag (created with the new Shopping Bag Die)!

A Couple of Paper Smooches Cards...

 Hi friends!  I'm a little behind in sharing some of my Paper Smooches cards, so I thought I would share a couple of them with you today.

 

This first one is actually being shared over at the Paper Smooches blog today!  I used the new Slang Gang set (all the new sets including this one will be released tomorrow!!)!  I stamped the dude sentiment all over the background layer and then embossed the You're the Bomb sentiment on the bomb.  The bomb is a cutting file I downloaded from the Silhouette Store.  Having three boys, I can see using these sentiments a lot!  So fun!  :-)

This card was shared a while ago on the Paper Smooches blog (blush), but I really wanted to share it here as well.  I used the First Aid Kit set along with the new Borders 1 dies.  I love, love, love this set!  I am horrible about sending get well cards, but really...what could be more encouraging than receiving one of these when you aren't feeling well?  I need to get better about sending these out!  :-)

Well, I am spending this cold Tuesday in my stamp room!  I have lots of fun stuff coming up to share with you!  :-)

Okay...first, I have to tell you that I got SO hungry while coloring this image!  LOL!  Doesn't that sandwich look amazing?  Mmmmm!  It's times like these that living an hour from the nearest town in a bummer!  :-)

For my card, I used the brand new Think Fast set!  And what a FUN set this is!!  I started by embossing the sandwich onto watercolor paper and then colored it in using a combination of Tombow and Distress markers along with a little bit of water.  I stamped the sentiment (also included in the Think Fast set) on the top left corner and then added some sequins and circles for embellishment.

Baby Shower Invite...

Hi friends!  I'm popping in quickly to share a card I made using some new (and some not so new) Paper Smooches goodies!

My card features the new Baby Shower Dies!  Just look at that sweet little onesie...so cute!  :-)  I also used a couple of my favorite Paper Smooches products - the Streamers stamp set and matching Streamers Dies!  Seriously, these are definitely my go-to products!

For the inside, I used another Baby Shower die (the cute little safety pin) and many stamps from the new Shindig set!  What a versatile set!

Check This Out...

Hi there!  Have you seen all the new goodies in the Paper Smooches store?  Kim has released some amazing new stamps and dies!

I made this card using the new Market Fresh stamp set (such a fun set!!) along with one of the new border dies (from the Borders 1 die set).  I also used the Grocery Cart die...it just seems to go hand in hand with this new set, don't you think?  :-)

Well, our weather today is supposed to be quite warm!  Woohooo!!  I'm off to do a little cleaning and then maybe even some yard work!  :-)
