Hi friends! It's my turn to post over at the Queen & Co blog today and I wanted to share here with you as well!
I’ve got a couple of bright and colorful cards to share with you today featuring some of Queen & Co’s gorgeous Washi Tape!
I absolutely LOVE rainbow colors! I would have it every where in my house if I could get away with it! One of my favorite things about Queen & Co is how many of their products come in my beloved rainbow colors! Pure heaven I tell ya!
For my first card, I covered a piece of white cardstock with six of the Washi Tapes in alternating patterns. I mounted some white cardstock on top of it (cut at an angle) with dimensional foam. I embellished with coordinating buttons and a Purple Glitter Flower.
For my next card, I decided to use Washi Tape to create a fun and bold background. I mixed up the patterns but kept the color scheme to Blue, Yellow, and Black. I added a small strip of yellow patterned paper (from the Perfect Presents paper pad) to the right of the Washi Tape layer.
I die cut the number 16 and then added the die cut Celebrate sentiment below that. I embellished with some black and white twine and a Yellow Pom Flower.
Happy Wednesday! I'm popping in here to share another fun, Spring themed shaker card with you! I am seriously obsessed with shaker cards now! They are SO much fun to create! this card was shared earlier on the Queen & Co blog, but I wanted to share it here with you as well. I've linked all of my supplies below.
My card features the Rainbow Foam Front and coordinating Rainbow Foam Front Die. I filled the rainbow and cloud with some Tiny Bubbles and Pops Toppings. After assembling the shaker I die cut the top layer using the Rainbow Foam Front Die. (Before die cutting this, I had sponged and blended three Distress Oxide ink colors on it and then splattered water and white paint on it.) I embellished with some Purple Sparkle String, a White Pom Pom flower and a Purple button on the butterfly.
Hi friends! I have some cards up over at the Queen & Co blog today and thought I would share one of them with you here!
My card features the Window Foam Front and Window Foam Front Die. I had a lot of fun creating this one! I started by die cutting the Window Foam Front die using white cardstock. I took the four inner rectangles and sponged them with four different colors of ink and then stamping them with some flowers. I added the Window Foam Front to a white card base and then adhered the sponged rectangles. I filled each rectangle with the matching color Donuts and Tiny Bubbles Toppings. I framed the top by die cutting the Window Foam Front die using black cardstock. I then added some stamped and die cut flowers and sentiment. For embellishment, I created colorful flowers using Lollies as the center and coordinating Twinkle Drops for the petals.
Hi friends! I've got another card today to share with you featuring Queen & Company Heart Throb Kit!
Love is always in season, and should be expressed all year long, don’t you think? Some of my favorite cards to create is the “just because” kind! This particular card I created for my daughter. I love to have cards on hand to give to my kids when I see they could use some encouragement. :-)
This whole card was inspired by the pretty patterned paper strip I used. The pretty grays, pinks, and cyans are so lovely together! As much as I love how crisp white backgrounds look, I also love how soft colors really pop on a dark background. I chose to start with a dark gray background and then softened it up a little by rubbing some white pigment ink on it and then splattering on some white paint.
After layering on the strip of patterned paper, I stitched some messy, freehand ovals with the plan of sort of framing the sentiments.
I layered on the “Love You Forever” sticker over a piece of lace and ribbon. I adhered the acrylic love word on top and then added a couple of sequins for embellishment.
I just love how effortless creating with this kit is! Everything coordinates so well!
I’m so glad you joined me here today! Hugs, Laurie
I created this card using the Heart Throb Kit. I am seriously in LOVE with this kit! For $29.95, you get SO many supplies! There are 3 word dies, acrylic words, so many embellishments, a whole 6 x 6 paper pad, a large stitched heart frame die, and all the supplies needed to create 6 pop up shaker cards! Speaking of shaker cards...I have a confession to make. I've never really been a fan of them, mostly because I don't usually have the patience for in-depth technique type of cards. I'm all about the instant gratification! Ha! Anyway, these shaker kits are game changers for me! Now, I want to make ALL the shaker cards! :-)
