I was grocery shopping the other day (not something that I particularly enjoy) and remember seeing something bright and pink out of the corner of my eye. Even though I had a fussy toddler and hungry four year old (not a good combination, I tell ya!!) I just had to stop and see what this was! The store had made a little display of boxes of Crystal Light (to go packets). They are these single serve little pouches that you add to a small water bottle...shake...and enjoy! (Sounds like a commercial...LOL!!) Well, the "Good Times" set by Whipper Snapper immediately came to mind and a box of raspberry Crystal Light packets ended up in my cart! I couldn't help but think that these would be fun at a Summer get-together!
How cute would it be to have a decorated water bottle for each guest...and a decorated box that contains these pouches? Maybe even an assortment...different kinds...for them to choose from? :-) AND...they were SO easy to make! Woohoo! I simply wrapped my decorated label around the pre-printed water label. I then added a scallop circle and this cuuuute ice tea glass from Whipper Snapper's Good Times set (that I colored with Copics and cut out)! Oh...I added some Frosted Lace Stickles to the ice cubes...mmmm, sparkly ice cubes! :-)
For the box...well, I just took apart the one they came in and used it for a pattern (I did cut the top off so those adorable little packets could be seen)! The "Bottoms Up!" sentiment is from the Sweet Expressions set...and I thought it was perfect for my little party set!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend! (I'm getting lots of stamping time...wooohooo!)
