Happy Wednesday! I still have some more projects from the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges to post...and I will do that later today. My littlest one has been battling a Stomach bug...and it's finally getting the best of both of us! After being up with him most of the night, we both took a long nap this morning. He seems to be feeling better and I sure hope we're at the tail end of it! Whew! Anyway, I do have my Sketch Challenge card to share with you (it's also for Jami's "Back to Black" challenge...where you use a little bit of black to make your card or image "pop").
My husband needed a thank you card (and he really doesn't like to send "frilly" things) so I reached for this elegant yet not "frilly" paper by Sandylion. I embossed the leaves with Gold details e.p. on True Thyme and cut them out. I matted them on an oval punched with my Mega oval punch (I hand cut out the black oval mat). I also hand cut the corners and mats. That's it! Pretty easy!
I will share the other photos later this afternoon (when my little guy takes another nap :-).
Have a great afternoon! ~Laurie
