Happy Friday!! It's almost the weekend...and you know what that means!! Another one of Beate's fun Weekend Sketch Challenges!
I'm still on my Christmas card "kick". I just love the idea of having most of my Christmas cards done before December (that has never happened before, so this will definitely be a first)!
If I had to choose a favorite color (it's hard because I really love most colors) it would be red! And white (or vanilla) is one of my favorite colors to pair it up with!
I embossed the snowflakes with Ivory e.p. on Real Red c.s. The Label and the JOY letters are embossed using Real Red craft ink and Clear e.p.
I changed the sketch just a tiny bit...as my smaller layer to the left is on top with the larger one underneath it. I think this is a great sketch, because you can "tweak" it just a little bit to fit almost any stamps and/or style!
You guys have got to check out the gorgeous creations that Beate, Charmaine, Jenn, Lori, Mary Jo, & Sharon have created with this sketch!
**Just a quick note... Thanks to those of you that shared your tips about keeping the ribbon edges nice and clean (again)! This is definitely a problem I plan to conquer!
I hope you all enjoy your Friday! I will be doing laundry and packing. On Sunday, we are going to sneak away for a few days to Wyoming! We're going to drive through Yellowstone (we only live a couple of hours from it...so we try to do this at least once a year), then drive through Teton National Park and over to Cody, WY. We've all been so busy...and this will be the perfect chance for us to re-connect as a family! We are definitely looking forward to it! (Don't worry...I have some fun stuff to share with you while I'm gone)! ~Laurie
