Today's Ways to Use it Challenge, over at Splitcoast, is to use Twill. I just happened to have this fun Artichoke colored Twill from the Jersey Ribbon Originals collection...Yay! My mom had lent me quite a few stamp sets (because I really don't have enough...LOL!!), so this card is for her as a thank you.
This image if from a set that retired a loooong time ago, but is still one of my favorite Autumn sets. I stamped the image in Black Stazon on Watercolor paper. Then, I used Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol to color the image in and added a little sponging to the edges.
This is a close up of the main image. I just couldn't capture very well with the camera, the subtle sparkle that I added with my Sakura Stardust pen. It has these golden undertones that is just gorgeous!
That's it! The layout is fairly simple, but the image is so large that I couldn't really add anything else.
