Yay!!! It's Friday! Time for another one of Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenges! When I saw this week's sketch, I knew right away that I wanted to use my brand new Always set! I can't believe I've had for well over a week and this is the first time it's seen ink! This set is my absolute favorite in the new Spring/Summer Stampin' Up! catalog!
Today's Limited Supplies Challenge is to use background stamps...no patterned paper or Cuttlebug backgrounds...just good old fashioned stamping. :-) WELL, it so happens that I just have the perfect background stamp to go with this beautiful bird! Actually this Stitched background stamp is probably my runner up favorite from the catalog! How could I not pair them together? :-)
I stamped the Stitched background stamp in Close to Cocoa ink on Soft Sky c.s. For the bird, I embossed it on a piece of Whisper White, colored it in, and then cut it out and popped up just the "top half" of him.
