Look at this beautiful RAK I received from my friend Tosha!!  Remember the post I did a couple of weeks ago where I mentioned how much I loved the warm, rich colors of this card?  Well...it showed up in my mailbox a week later!!!  How incredibly lucky am I??  :-)  You can check out more of her beautiful creations at Stamp Talk With Tosh!

My Mane Squeeze...

Happy Wednesday!  So, it's actually not Wednesday for me (I'm writing this several days ahead)...but if it was Wed. already I know that I would be saying..."Wow!!  Can you believe it's Wednesday already?"  LOL!!  Hehehehee! 

I have just a small little "love note" to share with you today.  This is the Valentine's card that I made for my youngest son.  This super cute little lion (from C.C Designs...available at All That Scraps) reminds me so much of him!

This Olive card base measures 3" x 3".  I stamped the lion with Pitch Black Adirondack ink, colored him with my Copics, & cut him out.  I then "popped" him up on top of the grass for a little extra dimension.  The other elements that are popped up are one of the hearts and the scallop circle sentiment.

Update:  Hi!!  (From Salt Lake City!)  Soo...who knew that Starbucks has wireless Internet access?  LOL!!  I just wanted to thank you all for your wonderful comments and emails!  We're doing o.k.  The doctors here are wonderful...and the nurses are outstanding!  We're pretty exhausted, though.  Lots and lots of appointments!  Wow!  Ali is actually going in for surgery tomorrow...and is pretty nervous.  We are here at a Starbucks (man, I wish we had one of these close to where I live!!!!) waiting for our train.  We are going downtown to do some shopping and see a movie....basically get some quality "girl time" in.  We should be back by the end of the weekend.  :-)

Serenity Prayer

I have another card that I made with Verve's new set Serenity to share with you!  This time I used the Serenity prayer stamp.  I wanted to keep the design simple...so I didn't take away from the wonderful words.

I used some of the new Scribble Scrabble patterned paper that Verve is now carrying (you have got to check out this line of paper!!!).

This first beautiful card is from my friend Jennifer Meyer!  I saw a card she made with this set and was in awe of her wonderful watercoloring...and she was so sweet to make me one!!  You can see more of her gorgeous cards at her blog Jennifer's Sweet Designs!

This card was sent to me by my very thoughtful friend Holly!  I love how this unusual sized card ...it makes is all the more fun!!  Thank you Holly...for the wonderful card and the very encouraging words inside!!
