I'm SO excited about this Verve Stamps release!! I really can't wait for you to see them!!! :-) When we had sign-ups for which set we wanted to make a "sneak peek" card for...well, I just couldn't make up my mind! Seriously...they are all amazing!! I finally chose "Grateful Elegance"...and after working with it, I can now say it is my absolute favorite Verve stamp set ever!!
Not only are the new stamps amazing...but there is even new packaging!! I know this may seem like a strange thing to mention...but I was so inspired by it that I went straight to my stamp room, pulled out these two colors (same as the packaging), and started creating!!
Everything is embossed using Chocolate Chip craft ink and Clear detail e.p...including the "trim" around the Dark Chocolate layer (I just love the look of tone-on-tone embossing!!)! To create the top Aqua colored layer, I embossed the decorative background onto Shimmery White c.s., cut/embossed with my Square Nestabilities, then used the same square Nestabilties die as a stencil and colored it in with my Copic Air Gun (with BG10 marker).
I added some Clear Micro Beads to the white flower (I adhered them with Crystal Effects) for some added texture and subtle sparkle. :-)
