Happy Saturday! Today's OCC challenge is a wonderful sketch...designed by Dawn (this month's hostess). As I sat down to stamp...I ended up changing the sketch just a tiny bit to make my card work. (Shhhhh...don't tell!! :-) Do you ever get determined to use a particular stamp...no matter what? That's exactly how I was... Ever since I got this Halloween/Fall set (by Inkadinkado), I've been wanting to use this gorgeous swirly pumpkin stamp!
The only thing on my card that is not straight forward (you can tell what I did by looking at it) is the micro beads I added to the pumpkin. Some things just don't photograph well...and these beautiful beads are one of them. After coloring the pumpkins with Copic markers, I added some Diamond Glaze to them and then immediately sprinkled them with the micro beads. Oh...the purple-ish background is actually just ink that I sponged on. Pretty simple..but I'm pleased with the results!
Make sure you check out what the other OCC designers have created this week! (It's always so interesting to me how one sketch can look so different)!
Thanks for visiting! ~Laurie
