Hooray for Friday!! :-) Not only does it mean the weekend is *almost* here...but it is also time for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge!! Wooohooo!!!!
This week's sketch (#77) is hosted by Lori Craig...and she has cooked up an amazing sketch for us!! Seriously...I had SO much fun with this sketch!! So many ideas were swirling around in my head, so you just might see me use this sketch some more this week *wink*!
I couldn't help myself...I just HAD to use my new Verve stamps! I love these new sets Julee has created!! Just wait until you see them!! Well, I guess you won't have to wait too long, because the release party is tonight...in the SCS Verve Stamps forum!
One of the ideas I had when I saw the sketch, was that the rectangle element could be a pocket...to hold a tag or something...so that is what I went with here. I created the pocket, by sewing around three of the edges. For embellishments, I added some ribbon, twine, distressing, and some buttons (OMGosh...I LOVE these buttons...they are the Latte buttons from Stampin' Up!)!
