Hi! Today I've got a couple of baby cards to share with you! Several couples we know will soon be having babies, so I thought I better get stamping! :-) Mondays are usually pretty hectic around here (laundry, cleaning house, school, etc.), but I ended up finishing early! Woohooo! I love it when that happens! :-)
When I saw Julee's Monday Mojo Sketch for this week (Mojo Monday 81), I knew it would be perfect for the baby cards! I kept both cards similar, changing just a few of the elements. They both use Verve's Practically Perfect set, as well as some new Stampin' Up! patterned paper that I just got!
I think that the Parisian Breeze Specialty (the paper used on this card) is hands down my FAVORITE paper in the Spring/Summer catalog! Usually, I only like one of the patterns per page...but there is not a pattern in this set that I don't absolutely love! I embossed the bunny onto watercolor paper using Close to Cocoa craft ink and Clear Detail e.p., watercolored the image using various Classic ink pads, and then lightly stamped the Twill background stamp over the entire image.
This bunny is also watercolored using various Classic ink pads. The bottom piercing pattern was made using an Ornare border piercing template.
For her necklace, I added some Crystal Effects to the beads after coloring them pink.
