Happy Monday!! Today is an exciting day - we are sharing peeks of a new set from Taylored Expressions! The set is called Cherries & Berries, and oh my gosh, it is SO fun!!
For my card, I paired the pie image with the Cherries & Berries Key Ingredients kit (Snow White Choice c.s., Suede Brown Dark Prism c.s., Doodlebug patterned paper, Brown grosgrain ribbon, & that adorable strawberry brad)! I wanted to create a different type of background, so I cut out a strip in the middle of the Red glittery polka dot paper (by Doodlebug) to reveal a handmade strawberry background paper that I colored with my Copics. I then used some string to "tie" the polka dot paper together. I colored the pie with Copics as well (after stamping it in Rich Cocoa Memento ink) and popped it up using the 1/16 foam tape. I placed a little strawberry on top of the pie (I stamped the same stamp that I used on the background, colored it, cut it out, and added just a bit of Stardust Stickles to give it some sparkle). The Berries & Cherries set will be released Wednesday August 5th, at 8 a.m. Pacific Time!
