Happy Saturday! Today is the big Taylored Expressions release day! With four brand new sets and two new Key Ingredients, there are SO many new things to see! :-) Speaking of new things...want to see what I made with the Punchy Potions set?
In the Punchy Potions set, there are four large Oval images and four small circle images. The fun thing about the oval images is that they fit the Spellbinder's Classic Oval Nestabilities!! SO fun!! In fact, Taylor has put together a Punchy Potions Bundle that includes not only the Oval Nestabilities, but these darling potion bottles!
Here's a close up of the card. I used my Cuttlebug embossing folder to create the embossed circle background then rubbed it with an Orange Versamagic Dew Drop. The patterned paper (from Basic Grey's Eerie Collection), Black Mesh ribbon, & theSparkly black ribbon are all from the Halloween Key Ingredients kit. I wanted a little "something" to add to the top left of the card but I didn't want it to stand out too much, so I added some Black Candy Dots. I used my Copic Air Gun to get the "sponged" look on my main image.
This cute little metal brad is also from the Halloween Key Ingredients kit! I thought it was the perfect addition to the little box I made to hold my Potion Bottles (filled with Dark Chocolate covered Raisins)!
I wanted to show you what I did to the top of the potion bottles. I embossed one of the small circle images from the Punchy Potion set onto the sticker paper (included in the Punchy Potion Bundle), punched them out and adhered them to the tops of the corks! I then tied some ribbon around the top of the bottle neck and added a spider brad to the center (the ribbon and spider brads are from the Halloween Key Ingredients kit).
You will definitely not want to miss what the Baker's Dozen girls created with this set!! You can see all their creations here: Charmaine, Dawn, Denise, Donna, Jackie , Jodi, Karen G., Karen M., Laura, Sankari, Sharon, & Taylor!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! ~Laurie
