I have a confessions to make! I LOVE Dr. Seuss!! I love Dr. Seuss and I love reading his books to my children!! How does that effect today's post? Well, today is the first day of the Taylored Expressions sneak peek and the set we're sharing today is called The Places You'll Go....featuring many quotes by none other than Dr. Seuss!!
The first thing I wanted to do with this set is make some bookmarks for my kids!! And with school starting for us next week, the timing was perfect!!
This first one is for my oldest son. Isn't that quote fabulous?!?! I wanted to keep the embellishments to a minimum because it's going into a book (don't want it too bulky) and it's for a boy! LOL! I stamped the image onto Choice Buttercream c.s. and then colored it in with my Copic markers. Isn't that patterned paper gorgeous??? I love it! It's part of The Places You'll Go Key Ingredients Kit! This is probably my favorite KI kit yet!! Loooove it! The ribbon and buttons are also from the kit. Oh, and there is also this Maya Road book included as well...just wait until you see how CUTE it is!! I think some of the Baker's Dozen girls even used it for today's post (you can see the links to their blogs below)!
I made this one for my middle son (who will be starting 1st grade). I knew which image to use for him because he was standing over my shoulder when I first opened this set and pointed immediately to the rocket image and said, "Wow! I LOVE that Mom -Will you stamp something for me with that?"! How could I not stamp this for him?!?! :-) The patterned paper (which is from My Mind's Eye), ribbon, button, and Choice Buttercream c.s. are all from The Places You'll Go KI kit!
