Sneak Peek - Spring Baskets...

Happy Sunday!  Today I've got the honor of sharing a sneak peek of a brand new Waltzingmouse Stamps set called Spring Baskets!!  If ever I was in the mood for Spring, it is certainly now!  :-)  This happens every year at this time...I get tired of the snow and cold and start longing for Spring!  Even though we've probably got a good 3 1/2 more months of winter ahead of us, wonderful Spring stamps and bright, cheery colors definitely help!  :-)

I chose to use these beautiful flowers (from the soon to be released Spring Baskets set) to create a fun and cheerful Spring card.  I started with a 3 1/8" x 6 1/2" Lemon Tart card base, and then layered on some Berry Sorbet and more Lemon Tart!  To create the subtle pattern on the Lemon Tart background layer, I stamped the same flowers as I used for my focal image all over using Lemon Tart ink.  The polka dot background was made by stamping the polka dot stamp (from the Off Beat Backgroundsset) using Berry Sorbet ink onto White cardstock.  I colored my focal image with Copics and added some buttons in the centers for some fun texture.

Claire is releasing four new sets this Thursday, and let me tell you...you are in for a treat!!  :-)  Speaking of treats...both Belinda and Claire have some more sneak peek eye candy for you to see!!

I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch as a starting point for Claire's card.  I thought the elegant Say it With Style set (paired with Very Vintage Labels no. 4) would fit the sketch perfectly!

Yep, I'm still working through 400+ emails!  Yikes!  :-)  I have taken a few breaks...to eat, sleep, and take some ibuprofen though!  LOL!

But enough about that...want to see something other than just blah, blah, blah words?  :-)  Me too! 

I made this little card/gift as soon as I received my new Love's Flower set (from Verve Stamps)!  This John Charles Schulz quote inspired my chocolate filled creation...

Using my Rectangle Nestabilities, I made a window on the card front...and an embossed "frame" on the inside.

I plan on giving these to of the young ladies that have been helping me teach the Preschool Kid's Church class...  :-)   They're easy enough to duplicate, but still special enough to show my gratitude!

Okay...back to the emails for me!  :-)

Stamp Sale UPDATE!

I just wanted to pop in here and let you know what's happening on my end...  We unexpectedly had to spend the day at the doctor office yesterday (one of the many joys of Motherhood :-) so I am REALLY behind in responding to emails!  If you haven't yet heard from me, I promise I will respond!  I'm working through the emails in the order they were received.  :-)

One thing I need to ask though, is if you have requested stamps AND have already heard back from me with a total, please respond as soon as you can!  If you have changed your mind that's no problem, I just need to know right away because there are others waiting to hear what's available and what's already taken!

Well, my family is off skiing today and it's just me and my little guy (yep, my four year old "computer guru")!  He's already said that he would help me carry the packages to the mail box...for a price!   ROFLOL!!  He's had his eyes on these Valentine's suckers ever since I made THESE!  Oh how I love it when we get a little time alone together as he is definitely Mr. Personality!!  I love it!  :-)
