Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend...with lots of stamping time! :-)
Today, I'm sharing one of my favorite cards that I made using stamps from Verve's latest release!! I strayed a bit from my usual style, but I really am happy with how it turned out!
I've always stayed WAY far away from bright colors, but lately I've been so drawn to them! I stamped one of the flowers from the new Feel the Sun set several times, colored them with Copic markers, and added a bit of Stickles! I paired the flowers with a sentiment from the new Big Wish set to make this a birthday card. I'm always behind on making birthday cards...sigh...and really should make more of them!
I have a wonderfully funny "saying" to share with you! Jenn Copeland left a comment for me on one of my cards (thank you Jenn :-), and said THE most awesomest quote that is now going to be a "life quote" for me!!! {{{giggle}}} I often mention that I use Stickles (for those unfamiliar with Stickles, it is a bottle of liquid glitter glue stuff that comes is many, many different colors and is an easy way to add sparkle to your projects). Anyway, Jenn said "When in a pickle, just Stickle"!!! Accck! How fantastic is that?!!?! I love it!! It truly is my motto! LOL!!
I have the privilege of being able to visit Julee (owner of Verve Stamps) and her husband Mark (also known as Mr. Verve)! Yes, I actually got to leave the mud and muck (well, slush actually) of Montana for a few days! It has been SOOO much fun! Not only do I get to see where all the Verve magic happens (and ooh and aah over all the stamps), but they have truly treated me like royalty!! And yes...they are BOTH as nice and amazing in person as they seem online!
